The 2017 Micro-Tour 6 was our most ambitious in terms of states visited (3!), and in terms o weather.  A classic 'nor'easter was foretasted for the weekend (Spoiler Alert..it rained alot!), but 13 souls took the along and ventured north with 718 Cyclery

718 Cyclery's 2017 Micro-Tour 5 was a 62 mile ride from the shop in Brooklyn to Mahlon Dickerson Reservation in NJ. See route video below.

The 2017 Micro-Tour 4 was a ride from 718 Cyclery through the Rockaways to a campsite at the Gateway National Recreation Area, commonly known to locals as Floyd Bennett Field.

Micro-Tour 3 (July 8/8, 2017) saw a series of firsts...first child making the ride, first Micro-Tour with multiple routes, and first recumbent rider.

2017 Micro-Tour 2 was a ride from 718 Cyclery on May 20th up through Westchester County to historic Croton Point ParkThese 47 miles was mostly traversed at a calm elevation on protected bike lanes (Hudson River Greenway, South County Trailway and North County Trailway)

When we plan a Micro-Tour, we use 3 basic criteria.  Distance, weather/season and campsite facilities. The 2017 Micro-Tour 01 broke 3 records, as it was longest (67 miles each way), coldest (33 degrees at night) and the first to go to a

Micro-Tour 03 was a fire-breathing, misty-mountain hop. It's a 55 mile ride from 718 to Lake Tiorati in Harriman State Park​​​​​​​, 5 miles NW of Stony Point. At one point, we had 71 people signed up for this trip. Due to the threat of storms (that only partially materialized), we pulled 24 people out to ride and camp with us.

Micro-Tour 2 saw 43 people travel 60 miles from 718 Cyclery to Ward Pound Ridge Reservatio​​​​​​​ n for a night of camping, and riding back the next day. A majority of riders met at the shop top start the ride at 9am
