Garmin Varia Radar Lights
I had my first commute with the Garmin Varia lighting system this evening. When paired with a Garmin GPS device (in my case, and Edge 1000 Explore), the headlight dims or brightens based on speed and/or time of day. and the rear (radar enabled) light lets you know if cars (or other cyclists) are approaching from behind.
Harriman Hike
On March 15th, I headed out to Harriman (NY) State Park, a massive wilderness preserve about 30 miles northwest of NYC. The purpose of this trip was to scout the logistics for future Day Hikes.

We keep the same hours year-round, but the staff gets spread out a little thinner, so consequently I have time in the shop on my own.
