Dirt 101 (dirt101.nyc) is a free celebration of riding bikes on rough/loose and otherwise dirty surfaces here in NYC. August 12, 2017. Over 115 men and women signed up for a day of off-road fun.
City Slicker 2: Clay's Gold MTB Race Report
On November 19, 2016, 718 Cyclery hosted "City Slicker 2: Clay's Gold", the 2nd annual installment of our Fall MTB racing classic. This race also serves as the final jewel of the 718 Cyclery Racing Series Triple Crown (the first 2 jewels are "Fat and Frozen" and "Dirt Jam"). These races are currently the only MTB races held within New York City, at Cunningham Park in Queens.
2016 Dirt Jam Event and Race Report
Like most events at 718 Cyclery, Dirt Jam was born out of some random ideas, and the desire to bring people together who enjoy off-road riding. The random idea was to put on a race/event that was more of a fun celebration than just a race. Location was Cunningham Park in Queens, NYC.
