Cancellation and Refund Policy

Tours and Micro-Tours

If you must cancel your trip reservation for any reason, it is your responsibility to notify 718 Cyclery immediately in writing via email, phone (347 457-5760) or U.S. mail ()427 7th Ave, Suite B, Brooklyn, NY 11215)

718 Cyclery cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Micro-Tour (2 day trip): Cancellation more than 21 days before trip departure: Full payment returned by 718 Trips and Tours (minus 3% credit card processing fee). This lead time is required because of the insurance commitments that must be made, as well as campsite reservations and logistics. 20 days or less notice, there is no refund.

  • Micro-Tour (3 day trip): Cancellation more than 30 days before trip departure: Full payment returned by 718 Trips and Tours (minus 3% credit card processing fee). This lead-time is required because of the insurance commitments that must be made, as well as campsite reservations and logistics. 29 days or less notice, there is no refund.

  • Multi-Day Tours: Cancellation more than 45 days before trip departure: Full payment returned by 718 Trips and Tours (minus 3% credit card processing fee). This leadtime is require because of the insurance commitments that must be made, as well as campsite reservations and logistics. 44 days or less notice, there is no refund.

No refund will be given for the following:

  • Participant’s late arrival for a trip

  • If a participant chooses to leave a trip for any reason after the trip starts

  • Food, services, or overnight lodging for which a participant paid but did not use, once a trip has started

  • Disagreeable weather

718 Cyclery reserves the right to cancel or combine trips. If this results in a revised departure date unacceptable to a participant, the participant’s tour fees will be refunded. If a trip in cancelled due to weather, participants are entitled to a full refund or credir for future trip.

In order to maintain reasonable tour prices, 718 Trips and Tours will not make exceptions to this cancellation and transfer policy.
